1st Caringbah formed a Venturer Unit in February 2010. Due to the popularity of our group and the expected number of scouts coming up from our troop, at this stage we will be limiting the size of the unit to 24 youth members aged between 14 years 6 months and 18 years old so if you want to join us, put your name on the waiting list fast. In a similar vein to what we did with our Scout Troop over the last 3 years, we plan to do a lot of adventurous activities and then a lot more besides!
- Leadership
At this stage our Venturer Unit will led by 3 Adult Leaders Lindsay “Barra” Young, Jason “Baggy” Juretic, Eric “Rafiki” Clark and support by parent helper Donna “Leopard Head” Camkin.

Joining
If you want to join us then please contact Lindsay “Barra” Young on young.lindsay.j@gmail.com Children can bypass the waiting list and join immediately where their parents commit to join as a leader of either Venturers, Joey’s or Cubs (Scouts have plenty of leaders!).

Meetings
Venturer meetings take place on Monday’s (except school holidays) during the normal school terms and run from 7.30pm to 9.30pm at our Group Hall in Castlenau Street, Caringbah. Check out our program for this term here
