1st Caringbah Scouts

We sent 2 patrols (led by Chris B and Nathan) to this light weight camping competition at Camp Coutts. It focusses predominantly on campcraft skills and we are very happy to announce 1st Caringbah came away with 2 trophies – the “best activities point score” and Nathan was awarded “best leader” over 70 other scouts. Our whole troop headed down to Lilli Pilli Scout Hall armed with 3 speed boats, a flotilla of sailing boats and raft of kayaks for a night of watery fun and my did we have fun. The 13 years and older scouts water skied using both a pole and rope with the MacPherson’s and Dunc showing us how it is done. Check out the photos in our gallery
