1st Caringbah Scouts

What an excellent turn out and most importantly a LOT of FUN was had. MANY THANKS to Cath Beauchamp and Hayley Richardson who did sooooo much work to make this valuable fundraiser happen. Plus thanks go to all the Parents, Leaders and Youth members for their help behind the scenes. Check out the short video of the Fair below.

On Thursday night over 30 Scouts, parents and friends headed out to Kartatak at Arncliffe for an evening of petrol fuelled FUN. Everyone had a blast despite some pretty heavy bumps and crashes. The fastest Scouts on the night were Cameron C, followed by Jack D. Cameron has obviously learned all about racing lines from his father Ken who beat a competitive field of adults to take the fastest adult time of 23.04 seconds on his fastest lap. Kara and Leonie were loving doing donuts on the skids karts.

WOW, what an incredible weekend with every single Scout doing their best, learning and most important of all having a stack of FUN. And to top it all off, the Speedy Turtles Patrol (Jessica J, Cameron B, Kathryn, Jake C and Jordan) astounded us all by winning the whole event with nothing short of exceptional leadership and teamwork. And not only that we also had excellent results from Goanna Gangsters (Bridget, Nathan L, Jake J and Tyler) coming 4th in South Metropolitan Region, Sonik’s Hedgehogs (Sonik, Cameron M, Lachlan, Shaun, Tim and Robert) placed 5th in South Metropolitan and finally Beavers Bandits (Chris B, Vivien, Darcie and Duncan) pulled out a 7th place (out of 28) in South Metropolitan – brilliant work one and all.
